The Greene County girls track and field team took part in two meets last week, with two additions to the Top 10 list for Greene County on Monday at Earlham, and a ninth place team finish on Thursday at East Marshall.
Monday’s meet at Earlham High School added two to the Top 10 from 2011 to present list for Greene County High School. Emma Ewalt is now sixth on the discus list and Evelyn Snyder is eighth for the 3000 meter run. Added to the freshman/sophomore top five list for 2018 to present is Alaina Heard, now fourth for shot put.
Top five finishes came from Ewalt, third in discus; Daniele Madsen, fourth in shot put; and Calleigh Fitzpatrick and Kaycee Pittman tying for fourth in the high jump. Addison Gannon, Lila Osterson, Savannah Lansman and Pittman took fourth in the 4×200 and 4×400 relays and fifth in the sprint medley.

The girls took ninth as a team on Thursday at East Marshall High School. Madsen placed third in shot put, with the 4×200 meter relay group of Lansman, Osterson, Gannon and Pittman placing third as well. Payton Kokenge took fifth in high jump and Pittman placed fifth in the 200 meter dash.
